A Quick Look at My Backyard Spring Colours

With Spring in the air, it is nice to have a look at some of the colours in my backyard.

There’s not a huge range to choose from but what it there is delightful.

  • Cordyline Australis – Cabbage Tree
  • Arum Lily – Green Goddess

I’d forgotten or have never really known the names of some of these plants but I will, in future, make a point of recording the names of any of the plants that I do eventually get to identify.

Mostly, if I buy something from the garden centre, I’ll try to remember to keep the label tag or iceblock stick that accompanies the plant so I can refer to it for the plant’s name when necessary.

  • Arum Lily
  • Rhododendron – Marie Fortier (I think)

Sadly, the colours don’t stay for very long, but I know they will soon be replaced with Summer colour.
